With his grandfather and father being tailors, George Papadogamvros grew up around fabrics and scissors. He is a 3rd generation tailor from a traditional family of tailors who wrote history in men’s clothing for decades. The uniqueness of his creations lie in the fact that he follows the philosophy of Savile Row tailors, the historical London street known for its traditional bespoke tailoring for men.
George imports the fabrics himself so he can offer his clients quality fabrics from designer houses like Ermenegildo Zegna, Vitale Barbelis Caronico, Loro Piana Scabal and others. In his atelier you will also find selected dress-shirts, shoes and every other accessory that completes a stylish outfit for men. He has an innate talent and ability to create custom-tailored suits.
His studies started in the Veloudakis-Institute and later on continued in the Marangoni Institute in Milan. Soon after his graduation George Papadogamvros decided to start his own business with a vision and a passion for men’s fashion. Truly innovative from the beginning of his career he won the trust and loyalty of all of his clients. Time after time they trust him to make their high quality suits.
Countless grooms also visit his renovated atelier in Kifissia to have their custom-tailored suits made. From celebrities like Sakis Rouvas, to entrepreneurs, shipping-tycoons, industry-leaders, politicians, artists and media people. He tailors his creations to perfection, in order to fit the needs as well as the body type of each person and provide a unique style. Apart from his atelier, the designer recently opened a new shoe-store on Kyriazi Street in Kifissia. In the store you can find some of his newest designs, all fabricated in Italy, as well as other Italian brand names.
